This is a wonderful series for the oboist. My husband played for 30 years before having his oboe stolen. It's taken until now, and he's 62, to replace it, and getting this book is wonderful.

I use his book to start all my beginning oboe students. This is a great private lesson book and a great alternative to the band method books.
The book I was raised on as an oboist. I am now teaching my daughter. Standard for the beginning oboist.
I downloaded this book onto my kindle dx and the music is easy to read on it and the fingerings are also easy to read but if you do not know what the keys are called then that can be difficult.
Great product exactly what I was looking for
This is an excellent book for Oboe starter. Our daughter and her teacher use this book extensively. The only drawback is that the downloaded copy cant have any annotations or we couldn't figure out how to do that.
My daughter is improving her oboe skills by using this book with her oboe teacher. It was recommended by her instructor and my daughter is learning new techniques and fingering as a beginner on oboe.
