This is always a concern to me when using a pressure type cooker.This book is everything you will need to know to get started with an Anti-Inflammatory diet. It providesuseful information, nutritional facts and the cooking methods to make these meals. Some outstandingrecipes I have tried are Golden Oatmeal, Creamy Chicken Soup, Beef Stroganoff and Enchilada Chicken.My family enjoyed them as well.This Anti-inflammatory diet will help decrease inflammation by following specific recipe ingredients. The recipes are printed in a very light grey which makes this book difficult to use and almost impossible to read.
The table of contents is a mess in this book. Example, table of contents page 122 says Sweet Potato Salad, but page 122 is actually Chicken Pho. The entire book is this way. It appears that it starts out okay, but gets further and further off as the book goes on. Clearly there was not enough attention to detail in the process of putting this book together. Therefore, I would not be comfortable trusting the accuracy of the recipes. I will be returning it.
There are some decent recipes in this book, however I don’t think they had an editor? Many pages were duplicated with the same recipe, and many of the recipes are difficult to follow, as typically, one lists in the ingredients in order of use, not just randomly dispersed in the ingredient list. Also many errors in instructions making it challenging to know what to do next. Really wish that someone had thoroughly proofread this book. As a side note, if you are having issues with gout, and can’t eat shellfish and pork, many of the recipes will be immediately eliminated from your available choices.
I ordered this and was shocked at how light the ingedient list is! Printed in light gray instead of black. So irritating! Had to read under a lamp! This is going back just because of that!
I'm so glad to have this cookbook since my father is suffering from arthritis, i can now prepare more delicious and healthy recipes to optimize his health. Recipes are so amazing and have great composition. This book also gives important information and reminders about anti-inflammatory diet and its principles. This is very helpful book for me.
I can say that this Anti-inflammatory diet is really good to make us more healthier. We just eat foods that decrease inflammation. This cookbook has also explained the fundamentals of inflammation and how food really affects our health. The 21-day Action Plan was created well and it was studied carefully. Recipes are all great and very healthy.
